I’ve typed and retyped paragraphs for this blog but I think Leo summed it up perfectly the moment we got on the ferry.
“Mom, I want to see everything.”
Those baby blues open wide and taking in every second of this trip. We did 2 or 3 stops a day and still had time for (a little) rest. It was amazing! And crazy. And wonderful. So I’m going to keep things short and sweet & let the photos speak their 1000 words.
I don’t photograph newborns often. But a lot of my clients have been having babies & I have really wanted to be along for the journey with them. When booking newborn sessions I am so clear about what I do, natural posing, minimal wrapping and lots of snuggling. I want it to be about your newborn, but also about what this addition to your family is. I want that captured. I want to photograph how small they are in comparison to you. How they just fold up into you, safe and content. I want to capture you as their home.
Desiree (mama) and I have known each other since highschool. She moved to Kamloops recently and I was so excited to get to photograph her family. She gave a lot of trust and we had a very clear direction of where we wanted to go which is so helpful. I’m so happy with how these turned out!

Wedding Day: Perfection!
This beautiful wedding at Monte Creek Winery in Kamloops, BC was one for the books! My favourite part to capture was the ceremony - the bride and groom are so expressive and each frame was filled with emotion. I have always loved photographing these two, and to get to be there on their big day surrounded by close family and friends was magical.
You can see how much they are loved. And how much they love each other. That’s what truly matters. I had big plans for a huge blog post but I think for this wedding, a picture is truly worth a thousand words (as cheesy as that sounds!)

I’m so excited for this grow with me session. I’ll get to catch up with this little babe and his family once a month for the next 6 months! How lucky am I?! The first session went so seamlessly, I was in baby heaven.
I’ve been lucky to photograph this family as they grow. From Mom and Dad’s engagement session, to their wedding, family photos & 1st year cake smashes. I love being able to document it all and I feel so blessed that they trust me to get the job done.
