Christmas Mini Sessions 2020

A beautiful two days of Christmas Mini sessions! I love the memories that we created but next year I think I’m going to be doing something different. A lot of parents voiced their frustrations at 15 minute sessions - at them being the day after a time change & the day after Halloween. And truth be told I missed having that extra time with you and your kiddos too! (And I’d love less time headswappin’!)

Fall Family Photos in Kamloops

Hey friends! It’s been awhile! Blogging is so hard to keep up on during busy season, but unless I’m going to make 20+ posts a day on instagram it’s the only way to share more than a couple shots from each shoot. This lovely family had their second shoot within just a few months - I love how mama styled them in complimentary colours & patterns. It isn’t too matchy but the tones still coordinate and compliment each other. If you’re looking for style inspo look no further!

Rainy Styled Engagement Session in the Okanagan with Emily-May Photography

WELL I’m obsessed with all of this. Jenna contacted me approximately 1 hour after she got engaged. (I love that!!) And booked me for an Okanagan adventure. I landed on this beach in Vernon - all the fall feels & a beautiful lake view. Leaving Kamloops I was getting a LITTLE worried about the rain and stopped for a now iconic umbrella. Enjoy these stunning photos!

Adorable Family Session with Emily-May Photography in Kamloops, BC

This amazing family travelled all the way from Abbotsford to see me for family photos! We had been planning a shoot since before E was born but some awful weather kept them away. Sarah had her makeup done by the wonderful Ginger Turley Artistry and bought their outfits from H&M. I got to “shop” virtually with her and it was a blast. When planning your session I can be as involved or uninvolved as you want.

I thought this was such a smart idea - bringing their Halloween costumes for a quick photo at the end!
