Well I must be caught up if I’m editing my own photos! Somewhere in the midst of 25 sessions this month, 3 weddings in the next 3 weeks and planning the guest list for our own wedding in 2021… I found some time to edit these of my grandparents. Grandma asked a few days ago how her dip photo looked - and I thought to myself man if I do'n’t work on these soon we won’t see them until December!

I loved shooting this session! It actually inspired me to dress up my grandparents and take them out for some photos with Kyle, myself & the kiddos. We only had 30 minutes so it was short & sweet but we got some precious moments.

This was such a fun evening in a new location! I had this shoot and a multi generation family photos session! Both took place steps from the other and look SO different. That’s what I love about Kamloops - a couple steps to the right and you’re in a brand new spot.
When I heard that this lovely lady didn’t get to attend her dance recital or have her photos done in her amazing costumes I was more than happy to let a few outfit changes happen! Maybe it’s my theatre background but everyone deserves their moment to shine. I really wanted to incorporate a stage/spot light vibe to the shoot to showcase this little dancer, so this was the perfect spot.
It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged a session… but it’s only been 5 days! I’ve been doing my best to catch up and last night’s session was the perfect condition for a 24 hours turnaround time for editing. That is never to be expected, I’m sitting around 1.5-2 weeks right now but sometimes it happens!
This mama is LITERALLY the hardest working woman I have come to know (via instagram). She is SO kind and understanding when I’m slow getting her photos of her beautiful bows.
